On October 18, 2023 the nexus monARC project played a pivotal role in coorganizing a summer school held in Milos. This event aimed to provide an enriching educational experience for students from Norway. The summer school served as a platform for fostering interdisciplinary learning, bringing together students from various backgrounds to explore key aspects of the project’s research scope. Through a combination of lectures, practical sessions, and collaborative projects, participants gained insights into the nexus of monitoring water quality, marine environments, and citizen science.
The co-organization of this summer school underscored nexus monARC’s commitment to knowledge dissemination, capacity building, and the cultivation of a new generation of scientists passionate about environmental research.
