Vasiliki Mollaki earned her BSc in Genetics from Cardiff University and an MSc in Molecular and Genetic Medicine from Sheffield University, where she also completed her doctorate in Genetics in 2006. Mollaki served as an adjunct Professor of Molecular Biology and Genetics at the Technological Institute of Athens and currently teaches Biolaw and Bioethics at the International Hellenic University and the Open University of Cyprus. Since 2011, she has been a Scientific Associate at the National Commission for Bioethics and Technoethics and has been an external Ethics Expert for the European Commission, participating in over 60 Ethics Panels and chairing 14. Mollaki is also a member of several ethics committees and has an impressive publication record, including 3 monographs, 1 e-book, 15 articles in international scientific journals, 4 articles in national scientific journals and contributed 3 chapters in 3 collective books. She currently serves on the editorial board of the journal Bioethica.
